Job Title: Facility Maintenance/HVAC Technician
Reports to: Facility Maintenance Manager
Starting pay rate: $25.00 per hour
Job Summary:
Installing and maintaining heating and air conditioning equipment in an industrial warehouse operation. Multi location, locally owned, temperature-controlled warehousing facilities in Kennesaw, Acworth, and Lithia Springs, Georgia. Full-time position eligible for all company benefits, including insurance, paid time off, paid holidays, use of company service trucks, and uniforms provided.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Diagnose electrical and mechanical systems for industrial HVAC units. Repair and conduct preventive maintenance on units.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Understanding by education and/or experience, basic and advanced principles of HVAC systems.
- Able to work under supervision and independently.
- Able to read schematic and manufacturer materials.
- General mechanical aptitude.
- Good communication skills.
- Must have a valid driver’s license. CDL not required.
- Ability to prioritize tasks.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Will consider students in current studies for HVAC or Industrial Maintenance technical programs.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to work indoors and outdoors in warehouse operations.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
