Co-packaging, or contract packaging, increases the manufacturing flexibility and efficiency of your business by outsourcing the intermediate and/or final packaging processes of your products. As businesses evolve to meet the changing face of retail and ecommerce, Atlanta Bonded Warehouse is there with the resources, equipment, and expertise to meet your unique packaging needs.
Over the past two decades, we’ve seen our co-packaging services grow by 15-20 percent year over year. Given the benefits of outsourcing such a seasonal, labor-intensive, and space consuming operation, it’s not surprising to see companies looking to hire an experienced partner. A co-packaging partnership offers a wealth of advantages to our clients, from seamless scalability and more manufacturing flexibility to lower costs.
Our co-packaging services
All of our co-packaging personnel adhere to stringent manufacturing practices and GMP’s. A comprehensive Quality Management System is in place to ensure that the highest sanitation and safety standards are met.
Atlanta Bonded Warehouse specializes in multiple co-packaging services, including:
Secondary product packaging
From kitting to bundling to sealing, our secondary product packaging services ensure that your products are ready for retail sale.
Re-packaging and reconfiguration
Whether you are introducing new products, planning a special product campaign or need to rework damaged products, Atlanta Bonded Warehouse is prepared for anything. Our reconfiguration services include the assembly of half and full pallet displays, floor stands, power wings, SRP’s, and retail counter displays; inserting/attaching promotional flyers or coupons; and taking on other custom consignee-specific projects. Our newest piece of equipment is a variable speed cartoner where we form the carton, fill and seal the carton, print the “best by” codes, check the weight, and palletize the cartons as retail-ready display.
Our co-packaging team has the ability to staff up and leverage our internal resources to increase shifts and add lines. We have experience with high-speed bagging lines, box or theater pack lines, overwrap lines, shoebox lines, and horizontal baggers. We use metal detection tunnels, code date printers, case auto-tapers, and check weighers.
As a longtime logistics partner to some of the world’s most well-known confectionary brands, Atlanta Bonded Warehouse boasts decades of experience coordinating high-volume co-packaging programs for every day or seasonal initiatives.
